INTERNATIONAL VISITOR FROM JANUARY TO JULY GREW 11.43%

The Total Number of visitor arrivals to Indonesia January - July 2008 received 3,469,968 visitor arrivals or grew 11.43% compared to the same period of the year 2007 received 3,114,097 visitor arrivals.

The number of international visitor on July 2008 compared to the previous year as follows Makassar received 430 visitor arrivals or grew 141.57%; Sepinggan received 1,148 visitor arrivals or grew 77.98%; Minangkabau received 3,408 visitor arrivals or grew 75.67%; Soekarno-Hatta received 145,535 visitor arrivals or grew 26,34%; Sultan Syarief Kasim received 1,437 visitor arrivals or grew 14.68%; Entikong received 1,363 visitor arrivals or grew 13.58%; Polonia received 11.898 visitor arrivals or grew 11.10%; Ngurah Rai received 190,662 visitor arrivals or grew 11,05%; Mataram received 1,385 or grew 4.77%; Sam Ratulangi received 1,952 visitor arrivals or grew 4.66%; Tanjung Pinang received 9,871 visitor arrivals or grew 0.47%; Juanda received 14,006 visitor arrivals or grew -0.16%; Batam received 85,560 visitor arrivals or grew -0.41%; Tanjung Priok received 5,570 visitor arrivals or grew -2.33%; Adi Sumarmo received 1,892 visitor arrivals or grew -6.43% and other ports received 91,247 visitor arrivals or grew 0.11%.

The number of international visitor from January to July 2008 compared to the same period of previous year as follows Minangkabau received 19,994 visitor arrivals or grew 29.76%; Soekarno-Hatta received 829.418 visitor arrivals or grew 23.93%; Sepinggan received 6,434 visitor arrivals or grew 23.85%; Ngurah Rai received 1,157,925 visitor arrivals or grew 21.50%; Adi Sumarmo received 12,418 visitor arrivals or grew 20.49%; Mataram received 8,267 visitor arrivals or grew 7.60%; Sam Ratulangi received 10,866 visitor arrivals or grew 6.31%; Polonia received 69,177 visitor arrivals or grew 3.76%; Tanjung Pinang received 69,168 visitor arrivals or grew -1.32%; Batam received 606,917 visitor arrivals or grew -1.67%; Tanjung Priok received 39,338 visitor arrivals or grew -1.70%; Juanda received 80,596 visitor arrivals or grew -2.28%; Entikong received 10,022 visitor arrivals or grew -4.72%; Sultan Syarief Kasim II received 8,614 visitor arrivals or grew -11.79%; Makassar received 1,088 visitor arrivals or grew -53.96% and other ports received 539,726 or grew -0.76%.

The highest visitor arrivals from January to July is Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Australia, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, China, USA, Great Britain and Dutch.
